Our Story

 Rick and I met online during the summer of 2006.  The first impression I gave Rick other than being sexy,  pretty, sweet, was how cool I was because I wanted to go shopping at Sports Chalet. Because both of us have such a busy sports and traveling lifestyle, we were only able to be friends at first. As friends we got together for mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming, and yoga.

How we fell in Love

Our magic moment didn’t hit us until one nice summer evening of July 14, 2007  during  my friend Szewan birthday party (thanks Szewan!).  From that day on I feel I have found my soul mate.  As a couple, we have surfed in Costa Rica, scuba dived in Bonaire, snowboarded in Canada, Utah, Mammoth,  Hiked Napali coast in Hawaii, Backpacked Columbia, and haveconquered 13,000 ft+ mountains throughout  California.

Engagement 

 Dec. 22, 2009 was the date when Rick decided to do the deed. He got down on one knee, said the most romantic words and surprised me with a beautiful ring.  It all happened on a lovely winter night at the Huntington Pier, overlooking crashing waves. And the rest is history.
